In 1976 the Balloon Society of Kentucky, Inc. (BSOK) was formed to promote safety and fraternity in this fast growing activity.

Our membership is made up of balloon pilots, chase crew members, sponsors, and casual enthusiasts who share a common love of this beautiful and fascinating sport.

Our meetings are open to the public and are held at the Louisville Aero Club at Bowman Field on the second Thursday of every other month at 7.00 pm.
